Marshfield Clinic and Ministry Health Care have been working together to provide the best heart care in the area for longer than any other program. It's a system that delivers integrated primary and specialty care, including a number of hospitals and rehab programs so patients can choose locations convenient to them. In addition, patients can access specialized care, such as one of the few pediatric cardiology programs in the state, without leaving the system. Digital records and communication enable team members to stay informed of the progress of patient care.

AHA ACTION - Get With The Guidelines
In 2010, Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital received the ACTION-GWTG Gold Performance Achievement Award recognizing a higher standard of care for STEMI heart attack patients by tracking compliance with core standards as outlined by the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association. In 2009, Ministry Saint Clare's received the Silver performance award.

Society of Chest Pain Centers
Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital was the first hospital in the region to receive SCPC accreditation.

Leapfrog Group
Ministry Saint Clare's Hospital was named a "Highest Value" hospital 2008 based on the combination of excellent quality results and appropriate resource use for heart bypass surgeries, heart attack treatment, heart angioplasty and the treatment of pneumonia. Only 13 hospitals out of 1,220 hospitals nationwide were given this designation.
